This photo is one of a series I shot for my friend Alex and his family. The competition judge liked the classic 'Rule of Thirds' composition, the diagonal line of light/shade, and the contrast between the pink and the green. The scattered leaves also help to break up the large expanses of green, and give them a bit of interest.
