Kayla (Mono)

This is Kayla, daughter of our friends Mat and Sharon. She's extremely photogenic, and in fact won her family a trip to Disneyland in a Pixie Photo competition when she was three!

This was originally a colour photo, which I converted to B&W in Photoshop using the Channel Mixer. I also increased the contrast and sharpened it a little.

The judge in the KSCC competition liked it, but said the skin tones were a little too dark.
